Gspeed Racing is based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Owned by Greg Szymanski, Gspeed Racing was born out of the dream that Greg has had since first getting exposed to desert racing. After a few years of spectating at any race he could get too, Greg began volunteering with various race teams as pit/chase support. Through these inroads, Greg has made numerous contacts within the desert racing community. After learning a few of the ropes through his volunteer efforts, Greg organized the purchase of the Jeep Cherokee race car in November of 2003. With Greg driving and his brother, Matt Szymanski, in the co-driver seat as well as friends and enthusiasts providing pit/chase support, Greg put together a grass roots effort race team. Gspeed Racing then donned the number 1722 in the JeepSpeed Challenge Series and competed in it's first two desert races in 2004.

Since that time, Gspeed Racing has grown in the skill and knowledge of racing through many trials and successes. Gspeed Racing is dedicated to winning and is now in a position for that to happen with the recent rebuild and enhancement of the race car.

The 2008 race season should be an exciting one. With a record number of teams slated to compete in the 2008 racing season, there should be plenty of action as we dice it up with them throughout the year.
